But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus---the work of telling others the good news about God's wonderful kindness and love." Acts 20:24 |

The Lord has given us the privilege of raising three children, two sons and a daughter. Jeff is married to Melodie, a wonderful gift from God to our family. They are the parents of five children. We, of course, think those children are the best looking and smartest children in the world. Jeff serves as pastor of Allison Park Church located in Pittsburgh, Pa. You can visit the website for Allison Park Church by clicking on the link.
Our daughter Debbie was married to Fausto Martinez on August 12, 2006. Fausto is a native of the Dominican Republic who was studying a medical doctor. Fausto and Debbie live in New York City and are on the staff of New York School of Urban Ministry. Though Fausto has been in the United States a short time, he drives the NYSUM vans and he and Debbie train and lead teams in ministry to the homeless at the Bowery and in various compassion ministries. Though it is a challenge to do both, Debbie still works in the Office of Development at NYSUM. Fausto has adjusted quickly to the United States and is loved by the staff at NYSUM and by our family.
Our youngest
We love all of our children and feel that they are the greatest accomplishment in our lives. We have had the privilege of serving as pastor at two Assembly of God churches. We began in ministry at the age of 20 and 21 leading the church in Titusville for two and one half years. Because the church in Monroeville had been without a pastor for seven months, we agreed to speak to the congregation of eleven for one Sunday as we returning from attending a wedding in Maryland and passed through Monroeville. That one Sunday of ministry led to a forty year tenure as pastor of Monroeville Assembly of God. The Lord blessed our family and the church with growth during those years. Not many pastors are blessed with the privilege of dedicating children, marrying those children and dedicating their babies. God graced our lives because he allowed us to see physical and spiritual growth in so many and the members of the congregation became our family. During the year of 2005 we began to feel that God was calling us into another area of ministry. It was with much nostalgia that we resigned as pastor to enter into the field of part time missions. We miss our friends at Monroeville Assembly but we are excited about following God wherever He leads.
